Climate Change Analyst
Freeport, ME

DUTIES:

• Review, research, and analyze policy developments to provide analytical support for policy briefs related to climate change, ocean conservation, environmental policy, and sustainability, etc.

• Conduct in-depth research, quantitative analysis, and make recommendations for legislative actions and awareness campaigns in these areas. Analyze and distill climate-related research findings to inform legislators and regulatory agencies.

• Prepare memos, policy briefs, study reports, and analytical notes on environmental issues.

• Support the drafting of a consensus policy platform for the Ocean Justice Forum by reviewing and synthesizing working group meeting notes and discussions and conducting supporting research.

• Contribute to design and development of a framework/toolkit for ocean-climate policy recommendations specific to coastal cities i.e., “Blue New Deal for Coastal Cities”.

Requirement: Should have a master’s degree in public administration.
